"Twogether" brings all expression together!

It was a treat on 19th Feb 2015 to all Puneites ( aka Punekars) who could make it, to meditate for two hours at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch. The occasion was the program organized by 'Swargandhaar' and 'Jeevangaani' to bring the TWO maestro to GETHER to perform in Pune. Shankar Mahadevan and Ustad Zakir Hussain performing together that too at a convenient location, time and with reasonable ticket rates, who would miss this event! Ganesh Vandana was the expected and perfect start which also acted as warm-up for the ears.  Yes! our ears had to get acclimatized to extreme melody and rhythm we were going to experience for next two hours and thus this start was just the right thing. I wish I had more days in Coorg!! After last minute delays and confusions, as usual, we used our first Uber ride and travelled to Pune Airport for free. We arrived from Pune to Bangalore just one day before we started our journey. We stayed in a friends place in JP Nagar enjoying late night chats and delicious food. Next morning we left for Madikeri. We first thought of travelling by KSRTC bus, but later chose to hire a cab as we could enjoy the beautiful road to Coorg. Coorg is name of a district which is also known as Kodagu and Madikeri (anglicized as Mercara) is headquarters of the district. Coorg is a beautiful region in southwestern Karnataka and can be reached by road from Bengaluru via Mysurur or from Mangalore. We went by Mysuru highway although bypassed the Mysuru city. It takes nearly six hours to travel from Bengaluru to Madekeri non-stop but we decided to stop at multiple places on the way and thus we reached Madekeri after nine hours. I am a lady.. who can drive a car!

“Madam! Please park your vehicle in a straight line.” He exclaimed to my surprise. I had never heard this parking guy at my office speak to me before. I get out of the car to see how it is parked and it is (although not perfect) in line with the SUV parked besides with ample space for a person to walk between two vehicles and to open the doors. I question him, “And how much more straight?” and he answers,”It wasn’t straight, last Friday.” This answer raised many questions in my mind. Do I cause inconvenience to others by not parking straight? Do I do this always? Or was it just once? Do these people who manage parking, often discuss about my driving? Should I demote, to my two-wheeler? Although I wanted to be brave, I lost a bit of my confidence that day. On the way back home, in the evening, I remembered how I learnt driving.
