What does Success mean?

We often hear people talking about famous figures and how they achieved success. They worked hard, they achieved a lot, and they earned a fortune. For some, success is measured in money; for others, it’s recognition or status. Basically, success is simply achieving what you aim for.

However, I see success as a long-term project, it's a collection of achievements gathered across a lifetime. It’s about enhancing a one's value, that's what so many of us truly yearn for or the feeling of being valued. Whether someone wants to lead a major project, impress their peers, win a race, or simply cook a meal for others, many people will "work their asses off" just to feel valued or to prove their worth to someone else.

Our day to day behavior is often guided by how much we feel valued or how we perceive our own value in relation to others. This perception guides how we treat people, how much respect we give, and how we offer help. If someone perceives your value is higher than they anticipated, or if they feel you are somehow reducing their own worth, they may try to overpower you. If they see you as a threat to their value, they might try to put you down. You can’t control how others feel about you; their reactions are usually a reflection of how they feel about themselves.
In my opinion, people who disrespect those who can't speak up, or those who carry a superiority complex, are often deeply deeply insecure.

It takes an emotionally mature and internally secure person to be truly respectful. For such secure and mature individuals, success is measured by honesty and a genuine desire to help others, not because it makes them look good, but because it’s the right thing to do.
I believe this kind of emotional security comes from having a "inner circle" of people you can trust to love you without judging your "value." These are the people who love you even when you fail, yet are the first to be proud when you succeed. My advice? Find those people, or create that bubble within your own peer group.

Sometimes people may wonder why I keep posting about my achievements. Is it to feel superior? Honestly, no. I post because I hope someone, somewhere, might feel inspired. I have drawn inspiration from the journeys of people I admire, and if sharing my own journey helps even one person believe in their path, then it is worth it. For me, success is about contributing to a cause, adding something meaningful to the progress of the nation and the world, and cultivating beautiful relationships with family, friends and loved ones. It’s about contributing in a way that inspires others to do good work. Success is not just my own achievement it is the ripple of a life lived with good intentions of collective progress.
